Rajuk Jhilmil Project Lottery Result- Rajdhani Unnayan Kartipakkha (Rajuk) announced names of 520 plots winners of Jhilmil Residential Area project in Keraniganj area on Wednesday. Jhilmil project is located at Keraniganj, a southern suburb of the capital. Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet) helped the Rajuk authority complete the process.
The lottery was conducted at the city’s Osmani Memorial Auditorium at 10:30am. Specialists from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) assisted Rajuk (Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha) in conducting the lottery.

Rajuk sources said of the total plots, 100 were allocated among the foreign currency earners while 120 for businessmen and industrialists, 100 for private service holders, 20 for non-government teachers, 20 for other private service holders, 20 for cultural activists and sportsmen, 10 for medal-awarding members of the freedom fighters, 10 for the martyred freedom fighters’ family members, 10 for injured freedom fighters, 20 for freedom fighters’ families, 50 for government officials and 40 for other autonomous bodies’ officials and employees.

Total 19,358 applicants were qualified for the lottery of 1,090 plots under Jhilmil project. There were 37 candidates against each plot, the sources said. It initiated the application procedure for allotment under different categories last June and accepted submissions till October.
The 381.19-acre project, 150 kilometres from the Bangladesh-China Friendship Bridge at Postogola, consists of plots of 20 types and sub-types. The project is expected to house approximately 180,000 people.
The allotted plots are likely to be handed over to the lottery-winners within next three years, Rajuk sources said.

Rajuk said the deposited money will automatically refunded to the related account. But I havnt received my money yet.
