The establishment of private university has created opportunities for higher education in Bangladesh. There are tow types of universities in our country namely state-run universities(Govt. University) and the private universities. State-run universities like Dhaka University, Rajshahi University, Chittagong University, Jahangirnagar University and Jagannath University were only institutions of receiving higher education.

Only a few students could have the possibility of receiving higher education in the state-run(Govt. University) universities.
